Dr. Jesse Baxter is a Prescott, Arizona native.  She attended Prescott College and Yavapai Community College before completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Baxter received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2009. After leaving Minnesota, Dr. Baxter joined the Mile Hi Animal Hospital team as an associate veterinarian in May 2009 and has been here ever since.  She has interest in all aspects of small animal medicine, in particular ophthalmology and emergency medicine.

Dr. Baxter is married to Justin, a local wild land fire fighter. They have two young children, Addison and Cooper.  They share their home with three dogs: Deego, Molly and Sage, and two cats, Mau and Finn.
